We are excited to announce that nominations for the 2019 Trial of the Year Awards are now open!
If your network or group published the primary results of a high-impact trial in 2018 (either electronically or in print), we encourage you to read through the award guidelines and nominate the trial to be considered for the 2019 Trial of the Year Award.
Thanks to the ACTA Statistics in Trials Interest Group (ACTA STInG), trials nominated may also be considered for the ACTA STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics Award.
This year we are delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural ACTA Consumer Involvement Award. The award aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our members who involve consumers (patients and the public) in active partnerships to develop and design collaborative, multicentre, investigator-driven clinical trials. Download the ACTA Consumer Involvement Award guidelines and nomination form here.
The awards will be announced on the morning of Monday 20 May, when ACTA will host the ACTA Trial of the Year Awards Ceremony and join with members of the broader health and medical research community to celebrate International Clinical Trials Day.
Further information about the awards ceremony will be provided soon but please do mark your diaries now and keep the morning free so that you can join us in celebrating Australia's incredible achievements in investigator-initiated clinical trials.
